Summer Camp Financial Aid Application

Exciting news! The 2025 Summer Camp Financial Aid Application is now open! At Birch Aquarium, our camps are packed with ocean science fun, and our goal is to serve as many campers as possible while providing a unique learning experience.

Camps are designed to support inclusive and collaborative learning, promote exploration and discovery, and empower campers to reach their full potential. Thanks to our donors' generosity, we can offer summer camp scholarships so that campers needing assistance may enjoy the benefits of Birch Aquarium's camps.

ELIGIBILITY FOR FINANCIAL AID

All camp programs are eligible for scholarship support. 

Financial assistance is available to any family that demonstrates need through responses to our Online Application. Families with low annual household incomes are prioritized when awarding available financial aid funds, depending on camp session availability and the order in which we receive applications. All are welcome to apply.

Important information:

• Apply for aid BEFORE registering for camp, as funds are limited.
  • You must apply for financial aid prior to registering. We are unable to tentatively reserve camp spots prior to processing financial aid applications, and aid cannot be applied retroactively.
• Please submit one (1) separate application for each child who would be attending camp.
  • A single application does not automatically apply to all applications submitted by a household.
  • The results of your application do not directly apply to future applications submitted by a household.
  • Please remember that funds are limited.

APPROVAL PROCESS

We will notify you via email if your application has been approved or not. Applications for summer camp financial aid must be submitted each year.

Please note that financial aid does not carry over to the next year. In the event that you are approved for financial aid but are unable to accept it, you cannot use the aid at a later date/season.
