The Axolotl’s Garden/El Jardín del Ajolote presented by The Lodge at Torrey Pines opens Oct. 21! Discover the world of the endangered Axolotl, from the mythology and folklore surrounding these remarkable amphibians to the challenges they face in a changing world. Along the way, discover other unique Mexican species, including Tequila Splitfins, Blind Cave Tetras and more! Created in collaboration with artist Itzel Islas, this living story-world invites you to explore the ecological and cultural richness of Mexico and Baja California.
