Brendan Talwar

Brendan Talwar is a postdoctoral scholar at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where he combines marine ecology and fisheries science to advance sustainable fishing and protect threatened species. His research focuses on sustainable seafood and fishing practices, shark ecology as well as the conservation of threatened species.

Rosa Runcie

Rosa Runcie is a biology professor at Southwestern College specializing in marine ecology. Her research focuses on the roles of large pelagic fish— like sharks and tunas — in the California Current Ecosystem.
