Snorkel 101    Ocean Adventures Camp 

Immunization Requirements

All campers must be fully immunized to participate in camp. A statement from the custodial parent/guardian attesting that all immunizations required for school are up to date, including the date (month/year) for last tetanus shot, is required. This record can be obtained from your child’s school or physician and attached to the Health History form. We require a current health history every camp season.

Registration Will Begin March 10th (March 3rd for Aquarium Associates)

How To Register

Snorkel 101

  • Locations: Mission Point, La Jolla Shores, La Jolla Cove
  • Time: 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. (Monday-Friday)
  • Sessions: Week 3 - July 6th - July 10th 
                      Week 6 - July 27th - July 31st
  • Camp Capacity: 15 campers per session
  • Intermediate swimming ability required

Have you ever seen an octopus, touched a brittle star, or taken a swim with a fish? Explore different marine habitats and enjoy live animal encounters as you take the plunge this summer with our experienced staff to learn the fun and easy sport of snorkeling. Visit the calm waters of Mission Bay, La Jolla Cove, and the sandy bottom of La Jolla Shores. Participants must provide their own lunches, snorkel equipment and transportation to and from each day’s location.

Pricing: $595 per week ($535 Members)




Ocean Adventures Camp

  • Locations: Mission Point, Scripps Beach, La Jolla Cove
  • Time: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Monday-Friday)
  • Sessions: Week 2 - June 29th - July 2nd (No Camp July 3rd)*
                      Week 5 - July 20th - July 24th 
                      Week 8 - August 10th - August 14th 
                      Week 9 - August 17th - August 21st
  • Camp Capacity: 15 campers per session
  • Intermediate swimming ability required

Learn to surf, snorkel, and practice hands-on oceanography in this popular camp.  Experienced instructors will teach basic surfing, boogie-boarding, and snorkeling skills, while introducing campers to related marine science topics such as waves, rip currents, and near-shore marine life. Campers must provide their own lunches, snorkel equipment, and transportation to and from each day's location.
