A Glowing Good Time
After the sun goes down, the aquarium lights up! Join us for Halloween Aglow, a family-friendly event at the aquarium on October 25 and 26 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
- Trick-or-treat around the aquarium in your Halloween costume — bonus points if it's ocean-themed!
- Boo-gie down to live music from Billy Lee and the Swamp Critters!
- Play ghoulishly fun games like Skeeball, Whac a Mole and more!
- Explore the Living Light Experience to see the ocean's bioluminescence and fluorescence up close
- Learn about some of the weird and wonderful research being done at Scripps Oceanography!

Adult Ticket Price: $36 members | $40 general public
Child Ticket Price (Ages 3-17): $31 members | $35 general public
Children 2 and under are free.
Advanced reservations are required as the event is expected to sell out.
During Halloween Aglow most exhibits and the Gift Shop are open, however, some exhibits will have reduced hours:
- Hall of Fishes is closed as renovations begin on Living Seas, a reimagined Pacific Ocean exhibit opening summer 2025!
