Toddler Time is a special event that happens every other Wednesday for our littlest aquarium guests.
Storytime with Marylin McPhie
March 13: 10-11 a.m.
Included with admission.
Sea Stories! Join storyteller Marylin McPhie for stories of the fish, turtles, dolphins and other creatures who live under the sea and the sailors, fishermen, and princes who travel on top. A piece of paper turns into a talking fish. A greedy rajah hordes his gold. A train runs on fish instead of coal. It’s a variation on the old tongue-twister – “She tells sea tales down by the sea shore.” Discover the treasures that lie in the ocean.
Marilyn McPhie has been telling stories professionally since 1985 and has performed for groups from preschool to adult, from Massachusetts to California. She has a degree in English and French literature and is the President of the Storytellers of San Diego and a California State Liason for the National Storytelling Network. She lives in San Diego, California in an area known as Penasquitos, which means "little bluffs" -- an appropriate home for a storyteller.
