SEA Days: 100 Island Challenge

This is a past event, please see the Upcoming Events section below to see possible upcoming dates.

Science! Exploration! Adventure!

Experience all three at SEA Days. Each month, guests are invited to meet researchers from Scripps Institution of Oceanography and learn about their exciting research and current ocean topics.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month.
SEA Days activities are included with aquarium admission.

Coral reefs are often referred to as the "rainforests of the sea," and like rainforests they face many challenges. Researchers at Scripps Oceanography are studying 100 islands to track over time. Learn more about what it takes to study coral reef diversity without having to don a wetsuit!

Looking to interview a scientist? Would you like to speak to an oceanographer for Career Day?
