- What is the VIP Experience for May?
The VIP Experience is a 45-minute upgraded, immersive experience with a Scripps Oceanography scientist! During this month's experience learn from Scripps Oceanography marine biologist Dimitri Deheyn about his thermoregulation and feather coloration research. You'll also enjoy early access to Beyster Family Little Blue Penguins alongside the penguin care team before it reopens to the public.
- May's VIP Experience takes place from 7 to 7:45 p.m.
- Ticket includes Oceans at Night admission and one complimentary beverage.

During Oceans at Night all exhibits and the Gift Shop are open, however, Beyster Family Little Blue Penguins have reduced hours:
- Beyster Family Little Blue Penguins reopens to the public at 8:15 p.m. when the VIP Experience ends
- Food and Drink
A variety of delicious food, drinks and mocktails from The French Gourmet are available for purchase! Bars are located out on Tide Pool Plaza as well as Blue Beach.
