 Birch Aquarium at Scripps brings to life the exciting discoveries of world-renowned Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego.

Pacific marine life in more than 60 habitats. Interact with exhibits that showcase the cutting-edge discoveries
of Scripps Oceanography explorers through hands-on displays and
multimedia.
Birch Aquarium at Scripps is a smoke-free facility. Parking is free for three hours.
The aquarium is wheelchair accessible and wheelchairs are available for visitors' use. Handicapped parking is located in the traffic circle at the front of the aquarium.
Photography: Visitors are encouraged to take personal photos of any display. Flash photography is allowed inside the aquarium, except where noted. Visitors wanting to use tripods should check in with Visitor Services to determine the crowd level. Please note that visitors may be photographed or videotaped by aquarium staff for professional use, or by the media covering aquarium news. Entry into the aquarium grants permission for use of these images.
