0012 Seaside Explorers Camp  

Limited to 15 participants per session
For one exciting week, explore the seashore and the ocean beyond through a variety of activities ranging from tidepooling to fish printing. Camp will take place at the aquarium as well as at the beach. Parents are invited to a seaside showcase on the last day of camp. Campers must provide their own lunches and transportation to and from each day's location. Please note: This camp does not include aquatic sports.

FEE: Members $320; Public $360

All sessions meet 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday
Session A: July 6–10
Session B: July 27–31
Session C: August 17–21

0013 Ocean Arts Explorers Camp      

Limited to 15 participants per session
Blend art and science to learn about the incredible diversity of life found in ocean habitats. Discover the “art” of the ocean with visits to the aquarium and La Jolla and Mission Point beaches. Parents are invited to an ocean art show on the last day of camp. Campers must provide their own lunches and transportation to and from each day's location. Please note: This camp does not include aquatic sports.

0014 Sea Myths   New!

Do ancient reptiles still roam the seas? Does the Bermuda triangle really exist? Through scientific observations, hands-on animal observation, and a little detective work, uncover the truths behind these myths. Students will also create new sea fables of their own using creative writing and art.
