Saturdays: July 19, 26, August 23: 8-10 a.m.
Sundays: June 29, July 6. August 10, August 31: 8-10 a.m.
Dare to swim with schooling leopard
sharks, smoothhound sharks, and guitarfish while enjoying the mild surf
and gently sloping beach of La Jolla Shores and the adjacent rocky
reef. See rays, flatfish, sand dwelling invertebrates, and coastal sea
life with Scripps naturalists. Intermediate swimming ability is
required and previous snorkeling experience is recommended.
Participants must supply their own gear. Ages 10+ (ages 10-13 must be
accompanied by a paid adult)

Snorkel La Jolla Cove
Saturdays: July 5, August 2: 8-10 a.m.
Sundays: June 22, July 13: 8-10 a.m.
Snorkel
world-renowned La Jolla Cove, a part of the La Jolla State Marine
Conservation Area. Garibaldi, lobsters, and octopuses are the main
attractions in this calm, picturesque cove. Intermediate swimming
ability is required and previous snorkeling experience is recommended.
Participants must supply their own gear. Ages 10+ (ages 10-13 must be
accompanied by a paid adult)
