All About Sharks

Learn all about sharks in this exciting party through hands-on investigation, an aquarium shark expedition, and touching of a live shark. Each child will make their own fossilized shark tooth necklace to wear home.

Pirates of the Kelp

Set sail with your closest pirate friends to explore the underwater kelp forest in search of long lost treasure. Along the way, encounter interesting marine creatures and use clues to guide you to the riches of the kelp forest. Each child will make a pirate hat to wear home.

A typical party will include classroom time with a Birch Aquarium instructor learning about the topic chosen for the party and touching live animals, a visit to a section of the Aquarium with the instructor (tide pools, shark exhibits, etc), time in the classroom to make a take-home craft relating to the party theme, and 30 minutes on the party patio to enjoy cake and snacks that you provide for your guests.
