Themed birthday parties for children
Birthday Parties Register Online!
Host your birthday party under the sea at Birch Aquarium at Scripps! Our parties are designed for ages 2-9. Our goal is
to provide an educational and fun experience for the birthday child and
guests.
Each Party Includes
- Aquarium admission for paid participants (participants include children and adults)
- Private party room with Birch Aquarium Instructor
- Live animal encounter
- Aquarium tour with Instructor relating to party theme
- 30 minutes party patio time for cake and snacks (we do not provide cake and snacks)
- Take-home project for children relating to party theme
- Birch Aquarium coloring book
- Three hours of free parking
- Decorations (table cloths, birthday banners)
Cost (Please include the number of children AND adults in your total numbers)
- $400 public / $360 Members, for up to 20 guests
- $20 for each additional person, up to 10 additional people.
- One adult required for every five children under the age of 12
- Guest counts include children and adults
- No more than 30 guests per party
Times: Saturdays 10:00am - Noon or 1:30 - 3:30 pm
Reservations
- Parties may be booked no more than three months in advance and minimum of two weeks advance booking is required.
- Birthday parties must be paid in full at the time of booking. If
you have additional guests that were not paid for in advance, you may
pay for them upon check-in. Please keep in mind that we allow a maximum
of 30 guests, which includes children & adults.
- At least two weeks notice is required to change your date.
- Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your birthday party, a full refund will be issued minus a $50.00 deposit.
- If the day or time you would like to book your party is not available, or if you would like to hear about other ways to celebrate your child's birthday here at the aquarium, please call us at 858-534-7336.
