Discovery Labs

September–February $67.50 for up to 10 students; $6.75 for each additional student

K–1 Discovery Lab programs run 50 minutes in length
2–12 Discovery Lab programs run 60 minutes in length

September –February $150 for up to 20 students; $7.50 for each additional student

CAPACITY: Due to capacity constraints, groups will be assigned first available admission time. Sixty students are allowed entrance at one time. If your group is larger than 60, we will ask that you divide the group and separate their arrival times by 15 minutes.
CHAPERONES: One teacher/adult chaperone required per 5 students; $12 for each additional chaperone
* For playgroups and other organizations with parent/toddler participation, adults are $9.50 each and children age 2 and under are free.
OFF-SITE PROGRAMS
AQUARIUM EXPRESS
GRADE: Pre-K
TIMES: 25 minutes per program (booked two at a time)
FEES*: September–February $180 for two programs; additional blocks of two are $160. Maximum of six programs per day
March–August $210 for two programs; additional blocks of two are $190. Maximum of six programs per day.
CAPACITY: 20 students maximum per program, no minimum
CHAPERONES: At the school location, at least one supervisory teacher or adult chaperone acting as supervisor must be present in the room at all times.
*An additional fee will be charged for sites more than 30 miles away from the aquarium. We use Google Maps to estimate mileage to address given for reservation.
GRADES: K–12
TIMES: 55 minutes per program
FEES*: September–February $180; additional programs are $160 each when scheduled for the same day. Maximum of four programs per day.
March–August $210; additional programs are $190 each when scheduled for the same day. Maximum of four programs per day.
CAPACITY:
Grades K–2: 25 students maximum, no minimum
Grades 3–12: 40 students maximum, no minimum

BEACH TEACH

TIMES: Two-hour program at the tide pool or beach, tide dependent. Please call for available dates.
FEES:September–February $170 for up to 20 students

March–June $205 for up to 20 students
$10.25 for each additional student
Purchase aquarium admission at a discounted rate of $5 per student when booked with a Beach Teach. Admission to aquarium is valid only on day of scheduled program.
