For all college students visiting Birch Aquarium at Scripps for a class assignment, we offer the following student rates for 2011-2012:

September — February: $6.50 per student
March — August:  $7.50 per student
Year-round walk-ups:  $10.00 per student

Please purchase your tickets online in advance.  ALL COLLEGE ADMISSION TICKETS AT THE GATE OR THE EDUCATION OFFICE ARE $10.00 EACH

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Monday - Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00pm The Education office is closed on Sunday.

Professors are admitted at no additional cost. College students may click Register On-line to purchase and print Birch Aquarium at Scripps eTickets in minutes with a credit card, avoiding long lines at check-in. If the college or university will be covering the cost of the visit with a check or purchase order, eTickets can still be ordered in advance. Please call our office at 858-534-7336 to make a reservation. Please have a check, cash or purchase order ready by the date of your visit.

Please inform your students that they will need to check in at the Education Department between the hours of 9:00am-4:00pm. If they arrive after 4:00pm, they will need to enter in through the main gate, and will have to pay the standard college admission price of $10.00 per student. Please keep in mind, the main gate will only admit visitors until 4:30pm and the aquarium closes for the day at 5:00pm.
